Can You Reach The Safety Of Your Cabin?!?
Indie game developer Tim Bonderud publishing as Pearl Creek Gaming is proud to announce the worldwide release of Hunting Pearl Creek, a 2D side-scrolling platform game paying homage to the golden era of classic entertainment on the Atari and Commodore series of home computers. Available on PC (via STEAM and itch.io), iOS and Android compatible devices, Hunting Pearl Creek marks the debut title by the developer and was inspired by Tim’s childhood memories growing up with his grandparents, spending precious time by the creek banks in his local neighborhood.
Hunting Pearl Creek challenges you to make your way along the creek banks through 9 increasingly difficult levels where you will encounter many types of wildlife, some seemingly harmless and others riddled with danger. Your objective is to survive and hopefully reach the safety of your cabin at the end of the level, but enemies and foes are everywhere, and you must keep your eyes open for berries that will energize your health, as well look out for nuggets of firewood that will grant you additional life support. Using your shotgun, you take out approaching enemies, and as you play, you can collect sticks of dynamite that will allow you to blow up beaver dams and other obstacles hindering your progress.

Hunting Pearl Creek offers a refreshing blast from the past with its crisp and colorful graphics, intuitive controls, immersive audio, and parallax scrolling. Suitable to players of all ages and experience levels, fans of the genre and introductory players will enjoy the simplistic, yet highly addictive gameplay. A recent update to the game adds fun new special effects, additional audio, and extra features including throw indicators and visual hit indicators plus a host of other cool improvements.
