Indie game developer Brendan Votano publishing as Blue Volcano Studio is proud to announce the worldwide Nintendo Switch release of Side Decide, a casual puzzle game that harkens back to the wooden blocks of childhood. Previously released on PC via STEAM, Side Decide now on Switch has been four years in the making and is a relaxing puzzle game where the player must roll wooden blocks from one side of the level to the other, all while matching the shape on the block’s face with the corresponding tile.
Side Decide challenges you to roll a wooden cube to the end of the level, but to do so, the shape on the side of the cube must match with the upcoming space. Each side of the cube features a different kind of shape, and you can only roll onto a block with the corresponding shape and alignment. Rolling onto a circle allows you to rotate your cube, opening branching pathways to help you achieve your goal. Teleporting, wildcard, and falling blocks all add challenge to the mix.
Side Decide is suitable to players of all ages and experience levels and includes a relaxing melodic soundscape that evolves as you progress through the levels and aim to reach a state of Zen. With more than 121 levels to unlock and 10 different block types with its own unique mechanics, the game offers endless hours of casual entertainment and joy.
